Hey babe! Here's a little back story about me.
My name is Japhnie. My journey started back in 2019 when I started my business by selling handmade lip glosses at my local church. With a passion for cosmetics, I eventually expanded my product range to include lip oils, lip scrubs, lashes, highlighters, and lip liners. Business was steadily growing until COVID-19 hit. My business took a drastic fall, and the stress of it all triggered severe anxiety and depression. I had the desire to give up due to personal issues and the stress of my business not improving. Months went by without creating products or engaging on social media platforms. My mental and emotional health reached an all-time low, compounded by personal issues beyond the business.
In March 2023, I faced a crossroads. I came to the realization that I couldn't start something and not finish it. That was never my style. With renewed determination, I decided to resurrect my brand, but this time, it would be a complete transformation.
I rebranded my business, changing its name from Lxdcosmetics to Jdbeauteé, incorporating my own initials, signifying a commitment to a long-term vision. But I didn't stop at just a name change; I revamped the packaging, perfected my formulas, and introduced a new line of improved skincare products. My journey was no longer about survival; it was about thriving and achieving my true potential.
My story is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of never giving up on one of my long-term goals.
